John Hunter introduced us to Pam Moran (in blue) who, in turn, introduced us to her team in the midst of a planning session and we paused to take an Us-ie.
Monica and I visited with superintendent Pam Moran and her team from the Albermarle county Public Schools — like-minded, progressive souls. Some think she's the most progressive in the country, in fact. Pam was the visionary who empowered a young teacher with a new approach to nurturing critical thinking many moons ago: Our friend John Hunter who went on to create the World Peace Game which is played in 20 countries at this point, including at Agnor-Hurt Elementary School where he teaches 4th grade. We started an outstanding dialogue — which we are eager to continue!
